Send iCloud email with CloudSMTP

Have a new iCloud account or me.com email address? It’s easy to check your iCloud email in other email clients, you just need to add the right IMAP and SMTP settings. You can use the following IMAP settings:

  • Server name: imap.mail.me.com
  • SSL Required: Yes
  • Port: 993
  • Username: example@me.com (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
  • Password: Your iCloud password

For SMTP, you could use Apple SMTP servers OR you can use CloudSMTP which will work with iCloud and any other email address you have! You can use CloudSMTP with for iCloud SMTP on your phone, no problem. All you need to do is sign up here and then enter the following SMTP settings into your email client:

  • Server name: relay.cloudsmtp.com
  • Port: 587
  • TLS: Yes
  • Username: Your CloudSMTP username
  • Authentication: Plain
Get those SMTP settings added to your email client for your iCloud email and you’ll be sending email in no time!
